How can I add my own items in the Windows 7 Ctrl+Alt+Del menu?

I want to add a "Restart Explorer" button that will launch a bat file. I need it, because Explorer can crash at any moment and the only way to restart it now is reboot, because mouse movements become choppy and update once per 3-5 seconds, and Task Manager can't do it as well, but Ctrl+Alt+Del menu works fine.

If your explorer is constantly crashing, I'd deal with fixing that issue instead of breaking things further to find a workaround. You could have a major hardware issue, like bad RAM or a dying HD.

It happens rarely, my HDD is pretty new and RAM too.

Explorer should not just crash.

I'd run SFC /SCANNOW in CMD and verify your system files.
I'd also run CHKDSK C: /F and reboot and verify your file structure is OK

If you are using an Antivirus, might want to add explorer.exe as an exception. If you are not running an antivirus, you might want to scan quickly with Malware Bytes.

You can't (easily) customized the task maanger.

Why not just go File/Run new task, it should remember your last option to run, after you run your first task, for you being explorer, would be a lot easier then what you want to do.
