how can i be sure to get free game with graphics card

ok a 480 is suppose to come with a free game im guessing might be select models though. any input on this as im going to order a 480 card but want the civilazation 6 game i searched new egg none of the 480 cards appear to come with the free game. if i ordeer it will it be a fight to get one through the graphics card man7ufacter or amd anyone have exp[erience with this

If Newegg, or any other retailer, does not advertise a free game with the purchase of a graphics card, then you do not get a free game.

From what I know its Sapphire and MSi brand that is giving the game, though you may need to ask them if they were given any codes ti give out with the purchase

No. Both of those links state you can only get the game for free if you purchase a whole computer with an AMD graphics card:

Free Civilization® VI game code when you purchase an eligible a RX- or R9-based PC system!*

Is the computer system you purchased through your retailer or e-tailer from one of the following manufacturers?
.
.
.
AND is your new computer system configured with one or more of the following AMD processors?

Unless the retailer you are purchasing the card from specifically states you are eligible for the free game by purchasing just the card, then no. You are not eligible for the free game. Home build system do not qualify.

I'm not sure what you read but the first line in the 2nd link clearly says "Free Civilization® VI game code when you purchase an eligible Radeon™ RX 480 graphics card* or a RX- or R9-based PC system!"

the same goes for Sapphire's website

I copy and pasted exactly what the site said. It's been updated as there wasn't a second asterisk at the end of the link as there is now. However, I would also point out the eligibility link which still states you need to purchase a computer.
