How can i check why my gpu crashed the pc?

Title says it all, my gpu is crashing my pc (sometimes just the monitor) and it's not overheating, i checked

Could be a power issue, could be a driver issue, could be a failing video card. System specs including the make and model of the power supply would be helpful.
