How can I connect my emachines desktop computer to my wireless network?

Hi,

I bought an emachines desktop computer for my son, but I can't figure out what I need to do to enable it to connect to my wireless network. It doesn't seem to have that capability already built in. I know I probably need to get some type of wireless card or USB adapter, but I'm sure there are different types and I need to know which type to get, i.e. brand & model names, where to get it, etc.

Please help!
