my computer was in windows 8. i wanted to operate with windows 7. but while installing windows 7, when i formatted the partition and tried to install it, i showed partition is in GTP format. Now how can i convert GTP to MBR without installing windows again??

Solution
if your partition is less than 2T in size I just boot on a windows image, delete the partition, and create a new one less than 2 terabytes in size and format it as a MBR.

deleting the partition will delete any data on the partition

I guess some of the newer systems have UEIF mode or legacy BIOS compatibility
