How can i delete BITS from my service list ?

I downloaded a setup file and it downloaded all these extra files on its own. Now the BITS pops up once in a while and some transfer keeps happening. how to stop/delete this service?. Do i need to delete it, or just alter it in some way;
Please do advise. thanks.
