How can I get ethernet port lights to front of computer?

On the back of my computer, the LAN cable socket has two indicator LED's that I would much rather be on the front of the computer case. How can I accomplish that? Is there some sort of 3'-4' extension cable that would have those LED's on the female end? Thanks

The best way to see network status would be to put an ethernet switch on top of your PC, ports facing the front, with a short cable running to the PC. You would be able to see the status lights of the incoming network cable AND the status lights of the link to the PC.
That's great! Okay I tried turning the computer around, but all the cables are in the way now, and I can't see the on light now, so I don't know if it's on or not. I tried the mirror but now the LED indicators on the Lan Port are backwards, so now they read backwards, or is it upside down? 😀

If you don't know how mirrors work, they flip things, that is why there is a thing as a "mirror image".

There is no mirror that does both that is a real even mirror. Why does it matter? If you know what the lights are you know what the lights are. If someone told you that every time they say left it means right, and they said go left, you would go right. So if you know that lights are backwards, it is the same thing as not having them backwards since you just need to reverse them in your head.

That's a great idea. I hadn't thought about a switch in quite a while, but that would work.
