Hey guys! I'm trying to get this build down by hopefully a couple hundred. I'm trying to get 1080p at least 60fps ultra on most games. Any recommendations on lowering the price to achieve this?

Solution
For starters you could drop the BD-R writer. These are no longer needed. If you're just going for 1080P you also could drop the i7 for an i5, and you could also lose the expensive keyboard and get that later.

Maybe try something like this:

If you're just gaming, there's no need for an i7. The i5 4690K will perform just as well. Your ASRock motherboard is on the more expensive side, and you can get the same thing for $40 less. I swapped out your RAM for the G.Skill 1600MHz, which will give you identical performance.

While Gigabyte makes great GPU's, you'll get the same performance for less with EVGA.

Cut the price by $300 and then you can add whatever monitor, keyboard and mouse you want.

Or you can buy this computer it comes with an led 23" monitor and a beast gaming pc that can run all the new titles at 1080p at 60fps + for only 1000$ and if u ever decide to do video editing it has plenty of ram for that as well
