How can I improve this?

Although upgrading the CPU will help overall performance, you should also fix your Athlon X4, it should score around 50% but it's only scoring 39% which means that for some reason it's not able to reach normal turbo frequencies (seems to be stuck @ 2.65 GHz). Solution

Ok, I was on balanced power, I adjusted that to high consumption to make sure that isn't causing and issues, I checked the bios and they all show they are running 3.7 GHz, I ran another benchmark and it is showing at 46% the first starting test and 52% the latest, which from what you said sounds on par.

Awesome. Job done, at least until you want to upgrade.
