So, unlike most people, I have no choice but to stick with XP for the moment (I just simply don't have the funds to upgrade at all, period).
Regardless, so the annoying thing recently is that my time has never stayed current, and I would have to update it each time it booted.
It stopped doing it correctly / kind of worked only sometimes with the Windows time server (obviously, this is some deliberate bs on Microsoft's end), so I would update the time with the government's time server.
Even now that's not working, to the point where even though its the correct date, it will give the following message:
An error occurred when Windows was synchronizing with time.windows.com. For security reasons, Windows can not synchronize with the server because your date does not match. Please fix the date and try again.
Of course I am now like "WHAT IN THE F!"
This sucks because I can't even access my e-mail since Outlook tells me I'm accessing it at a future date -_-
Any ideas on if its a motherboard battery issue? This comp was built back in 2006 so its an oldie for sure.
