I have an LCD monitor which clicks loudly at 2 to 3 minute intervals for
the first two hours after it is turned on. Because it uses only 30 watts
the obvious solution would be to avoid this warm-up period by leaving the
monitor always-on. Unfortunately, it seems that modern monitors will not
stay on unless whole computers are left on. (I'm using XP, Home.)
Does any one have a work-around for this problem?
Thanks,
John
