Hello I play games on low settings on my laptop out of persobal preference. But the FPS goes 100+ and my laptop works too hard and makes noise i dont want this I want 30FPS everywhere. Laptops automatically go 30fps limit when running on battery but when its on charge then it goes full out rampage mode. I want to play games 30FPS stable while Im charging my laptop.

How can I do this?
Thank you

what card do you got ? like evga NVidia card precision x has a limiter in it I had used it for a game to knock it down to 20fps

msi afterburner should have the same and can be used with any card AMD or NVidia

says 60 but evga's can set to what you want should be the same in afterburner

may google it around to see like I said I used evgas and set a game to 20 fps and it worked

this is from a old skin but look down to the screen shot where the guy has it highlighted in red then enter the fps you want to lock in at...
V-Sync will limit your GPU's outputted frames to your monitor's refresh rate. This is most likely 60hz, so 60FPS. Some games have the 'Sync every two frames' which will limit it to 30FPS. If your laptop uses AMD graphics, you can download RadeonPro and I believe there is an option to universally make every game use the sync every two frames option.
