How Can I Lock the Keyboard?

My 18 month old son likes to watch Netflix so I just gave him the old Vaio we had lying around, but I can't get him to stop touching the keys. I've tried to find a way to lock the keys and mousepad but the programs I found had viruses and I ended up having to wipe the laptop and reinstall everything.

Are there any programs that are safe that would lock all the keys and the mouse buttons?

No, I'd like the keyboard and mouse to be disabled but Netflix still running so he can watch it.

With it set to on-screen keyboard (and maybe minimized), what would prevent Netflix from running?
