http://pcpartpicker.com/p/hLRM23 I already have an i5-4690k processor. Is there a way I can lower the price of this build without losing performance. I am a teenager, and I have $974. It's hard for me to make money, and I really want this pc. I just need to lower it enough so I can fit in $50 for a desk and chair. Thanks!

Lose the cd drive, and get windows 8.1 (OEM)

You could also get a cheaper monitor

And an easy way to cut $35 is to use the stock cooler for the CPU and wait to overclock until you can afford a cooler.

If you have an old key board/mouse you could cut...

If you have an old key board/mouse you could cut costs there

You could also use an HD TV as a monitor to cut a LOT of money out, but it wouldn't look good

You could also use a chair you have lying around until you can afford an office chair
