I'm in the same predicament, so I keep my old XP computer around for when I want to play some game that doesn't work too well in Win7 even with XP mode (Dungeon Siege for one). Alternatively you could dual-boot on one machine..

Is it that you are trying to run a 16bit game on a 64bit OS?
