How can I make the USB ports charge when the computer is turned off?

I want the mouse to be able to charge even when the computer is turned off.

I have MSi Godlike the red and black one.

I should have been more precise. I meant the USB ports on the motherboard.

Jusb3 is the SuperCharger port of your motherbd. For it to charge, you need either need to run the supercharger app or put the computer into standby or hibernation. Please note that no data can be transferred while the port is in supercharger mode. This is covered onpage 1-28 of your users manual if you need more info.

As mentioned. to charge while off you will need to use a powered usb hub that you, obviously, need to leave the power on for.

It should charge as long as it's being powered by the 5VSB rail of the PSU. My USB devices all work when the PC is off, including my USB-powered DVD drive.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying it isn't possible. Many motherbds do support this and plus dont forget that in win8 and up that shutdown is not off anymore...
