Windows 8/Windows 8.1, being a complete and versatile operating system also allows you to connect multiple monitors to a single system. The number of monitors that can be connected to a computer depends upon the number of VGA (Visual Graphic Adapter) cards that are installed on the system.

- ■Log on to Windows 8/Windows 8.1 from your regular account.
■Once logged on, click Desktop from the Start screen.
■Right-click anywhere on the desktop screen to display context menu.
■From the displayed options, click Screen resolution.
■On the Screen Resolution window, under the Change the appearance of your displays box, click the Detect button to check the number of monitors connected to the system.
