Question How can I play HEVC file on windows 10 ?

I just downloaded some movies and I found that the files are in HEVC format and can't be played. It says to pay 0.99$ but I don't want to buy it is there any way to play those HEVC files for free of cost. If its possible please help me...

You need a codec to play that. Plenty of free codec packs around to download if you want to use your media player software, or you could just download a media player that already includes one such as VLC player.

but theres no need to pay, microsoft offers free version aswell, as your GPU maker has already paid for that licence
