Hi ,

I was trying to find a resolution for an issue with my graphics card and in doing so I disabled the integrated graphics for testing purposes. After that I removed the graphics card from my system and when I start my sytem I hear two long beeps and no display from the integrated graphics which I assume is because I disabled it. How can I reset the bios back to its original settings.

I have unplugged the power cable at the back, removed the CMOS and held the power button for 10 seconds and re-inserted the cmos, power cable, but still I get the two long beeps , then no sound, then 2 long beeps, and no display.

Please help

In order to reset the BIOS the CMOS battery must be removed for at least a couple of minutes.

There is no need to press the PC power button at all whilst the CMOS battery is removed. The power button plays no part in BIOS reset operation.

Be sure to unplug PC power cable before attempting to remove CMOS battery.

Thanks a lot for the reply. I tried that too and didn't work. Finally saw a video on youtube where the guy resets the bios using the jumper pin on the motherboard. That worked for me and things are back to normal again.
