hi guys,

i have recently too little space on my ubuntu and want to extend my partition by shrinking windows on my dual boot system. windows is installed on my ssd drive and my linux on harddrive so i dont worry to mess up my windows 10. but i need to shift my unallocated space downwards on gparted by also shifting efi(boot) and root partition upwards. i want to know if i move them without having an issue. and what is the best way to do that?

Are your partitions custom created? One thing you can not change them while they are active. You will need to use your live boot device. Than once in gparted you must unmount each partition etc. Here is a guide to help start there.
