I want to screen record on my work computer but I do not want it to be detected by the surveillance that is set up on the laptop.

The only thing that can come to mind is an external camera recording the screen, but this is hard to set up and has to come from an odd angle.

I also thought about remote desktop but that is blocked by the company.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

The company, the owner of the device, has monitoring software on it.
You wish to record what is happening on the screen, without them knowing and/or getting around their monitoring.

Correct?

Yes, correct, I like this solution (https://www.amazon.com/hdmi-recorder/s?k=hdmi+recorder) but I am not sure if windows will detect it in device manager or something, defeating the purpose. I am also in uni and want to record lectures on the school computer but do not want the university knowing as they do not allow it.

I understand wanting to record a lecture.

But if they do not allow it, they do not allow it.
Period.

Especially on their equipment.

Sorry, but we're going to have to close this thread.
