How can I see the desktop icons in my monitor and HDTV at the same time?

Hello guys. I'm using my HDTV as a display extension and I was wondering how can I see my desktop icons in my monitor and my TV at the same time. I don't know where to start so any help will be appreciated.

That won't do because I want to watch different screens in both. What I don't want to do is to have to move from one screen to the other to access my icons. Right now if I want to open a 2nd program in the 2nd screen I have to do the following:
1) go to the main screen
2) minimize whatever program I have there so I can see the desktop
3) double click the icon to open the program
4) if the program open in the main screen I have to drag it to the 2nd one
5) maximize the program in the 2nd display to finally be able to use it

What I need is a second set of icons in my 2nd display so I don't need to go to the main one to do a simple task such as double clicking an icon. I would also love to open the programs in the screen in which I double clicked it's icon. That will save me some time.

Why don't you just leave the program opened on your 2nd screen so that you never need to worry about not seeing your desktop icons?

What do you mean? Can you explain in more detail?

What I want to do is have multiple monitors connected to my PC each one with its own set of icons and make the programs open in the screen in which the icon was pressed. Can I have that with Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit edition?

I am assuming you are using the HDTV as a 2nd monitor, and so your monitor is your main.

What I was saying is that when you open up your softwares/programs, leave it open on your HDTV, that way you can always see your desktop icons on your monitor.
If you want your Desktop Icons to show on your HDTV, you can make that the main display, and then use your regular monitor as an extension.
If you absolutely must have a;; desktop icons on both displays, just copy all your icons and paste it onto your other display.

My HDTV is my main display and copy the icons solved the problem partially because programs won't necessarily open in the screen in which the icon was pressed and I would like that to happen.
