How can I solve this problem error 0x8007045D: the request could not performed because an I/0 device error?

I want to transfer files from my laptop and I am using ASUS window 8 transferring files to my WD 2TB external drive. But when I transfer it it is slow and also it shows that the request could not performed because an I/0 device error

And try to disable any anti virus software before copying files.
