I recently bought an Oculus Rift s for my pc but quickly realized that I only have one display port on my gpu. My gpu has 1 dp and 3 hdmi. The oculus rift requires a displayport connection aswell as my monitor. Are either of these exchangable for hdmi? Is a dp splitter an option?

Solution
I think all you need is an HDMI to DisplayPort cable to be honest. The device above, I'm not sure if it will simulate two (2) monitors or if it will mirror the output.

The device uses DisplayPort's Multistream Transport (MST) functionality. MST basically passes multiple display signals over a single cable. There was hope that monitor companies would support this to allow you to daisy chain monitors together, but I think that fell flat.
