I received the Intel Wifi card AC-8260 in mail today. I am wondering how its going to fit in my desktop? I have seen the pictures of intel Wifi Ac-7260 and it does have an additional adapter for desktop support. How about AC-8260, is there an extra adapter that I can purchase or if its exclusively made for laptops, and my only option is reverting back to Ac-7260 model?

Please help.

I bought an Asus Motherboard Z10PE-D8 WS with dual XEON processors. I am building my workstation myself for the first time.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/261979120287?ul_noapp=true&chn=ps&lpid=82// have you seen this? you could just get some laptop internal antennas and tape them to the inside of your pc case..then remove the external antenna screws so nothing is sticking out of the back of you new awsome case..lol. I was thinking of doing this for my pc. Because this new 8260 card is the newest and best one from intel. That external intel wall hanging antenna with pcie adapter has been around for a couple years and i dont think it supports the new m.2 ngff slot. Besides its tacky and ugly. This is what im talking about..
