Many articles online say that, on the activation page of your computer's settings, it has to say that the key is "linked to your microsoft account"

However, when I rang up Microsoft, and told them that I want to verify that the key is linked to my account, they told me that it will suffice if my Microsoft account online recognizes the system; it doesnt have to say on my settings on the computer that it is linked......

On the activation page of my settings, it doesnt say that it is linked to my Microsoft account, despite already being logged in to the Microsoft account
