How Can I work on one Word document by 3 different users ?!

Hi , I'm med student and I want to make an efficient note taking method which requires me and another 2 friends to edit at same time on one word document .

I have tried word online and google doc online but both ended up with distorting my original word document

any one please have good way to do this explain! Thank you

With MS Word, you can't. One person has it open for editing, it is locked and Read Only for the others.
