How can we extend 4gb ram limit to 8gb in win7 32bit

the mother board used is DH61WW which supports 8gb ram ,but we have purchased win7 32 bit . Now we have to access 8gb of ram,is their any means to access 8gb of ram,

Basically the answer is no unless you wipe the drive and install Win7 64 bit....

There are products out there such as RAMdisk which will allow you to utilize the extra memory and there are some pieces of software which will unlock it.

To be perfectly honest.....just get yourself the 64bit version and it will be easier, less stressful and actually will run better than any bodge job out there.

Sorry but you are wrong.... 4 gb is an absolute limit in 32 bit software...NO programs can release more memory, they might say they do but they cannot....

Best option is to upgrade to a 64-bit OS.. even with PAE enabled you'd still be limited to 4GB max on a 32-bit system.

Actually, Brett, you are wrong. 32-bit Operating Systems can access more than 4GB of memory by using PAE, so it's not an absolute limit; the limitation is that no individual application can access more than 4GB. I'm not sure what applications there may be that allow Windows to use PAE but other OSs, such as Linux, do so.

But, as others have said, the most sensible solution is to use 64-bit Windows.

You can enable PAE to allow up to 64GB of RAM to be used by the system at one point in time, but the 2GB Address Space limit for a single application remains in effect [the upper 2GB remains reserved].

Easiest solution is to simply move to Win64.

No,,, its possible to increase the RAM capacity upto 64 GB . I tried it and succeed also . Here is the link as follows.

Actually this is wrong ...... Depending on the Proccessor ,Physical Address Extentison(PAE) Can be accessed giving windows the ability to access more than 4. Again its only if your proccessor Supports it. So do your research. How ever this doesnt mean you can install 64bit versions on a 32bit version of windows. That is not somthing you can do.

Not only "they say they do" but I have proven that they actually do (in my Win7 32 bit, w/ 4gb RAM). After installing the tweaker, an improvement in performance was noted (albeit slightly since the margin was not really huge to begin with), and the Windows Experience Index for Memory (RAM) was also increasing. It was quite a while a go and I didn't keep any record so I cannot give the exact numbers.

So to say that such tweaking does not work, is to say that the tweak manipulated Windows Experience Index to lie. And what's to gain by endeavoring such attempt?
