Question How can you recognize a problem is caused by the CPU ?

Core2Quad q600
PC starting with no problem
Few minutes and the PC freezes and screen gone black
Restart and checked Bios settings and CPU data (heat & voltage) .... everything is alright
starting windows ..... logo screen + post screen and then its off black again !
changing CPU to core2due e7400 and everything is OK !!!! pc very normal and stable
I cant accept that its a CPU problem !! ??
