Question How come my pc has slowed down when i installed new ssd?

Hey, i previously recently installed a new ssd into my pc and my pc has become laggy on most games that beforehand i could run at max settings. But now i get like 20fps on low settings. Any suggestions?

check cpu/gpu temp?

what did you do on the new ssd?

hey,
i have a intel core 17, geforce gtx 1070 ASRock B250M
my cpu is running at 52 degrees

i havent done anything to the new ssd other than format it.

what is your SSD specs

also try out a different SATA cable and different SATA port

if my suggestion doesn't work, the ssd is probably a dud and you would need to RMA it or return it. Other than that, I hope for the best.
