I picked some better parts here and there, but overall not the worst.

Weakest component would be this:
SUPER FLOWER SF750 COMBAT FM 80+G AXT3
Just because it is Super Flower, doesn't instantly mean it is good. That PSU (Combat series), is almost the poorest option (even worse would be Zillion), that you can currently get from Super Flower. And your FG-series is mediocre quality, borderline low quality.

For 2nd opinion about your PSU, look it up from PSU Tier list,
link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...JWkc/edit?pli=1&gid=1973454078#gid=1973454078

You'll find it to be Tier B-.
While for a good PSU, i suggest anything from Tier A, like: Seasonic Focus/Vertex/PRIME, Corsair RMx/RMi/HXi/AXi, Super Flower Leadex Gold/Platinum/Titanium.
Tier A- will do too, while Tier A+ is preferred.

(My 3x PCs are also powered by Seasonic. I have PRIME 650 Titanium (Tier A+), PRIME Ultra 650 Titanium (Tier A+) and Focus PX-550 (Tier A) units. Full specs with pics in my sig.)

Other than the PSU, rest is good/great.

I have yet to plug anything into the PSU so I may just pack it up and exchange. I was thinking a be quiet 850 so I'll go look at the tier list. Thanks!

I would not have bought a 14th gen chip. Not convinced their so called fixes have fixed anything, with regards to chip degradation. Also 0 upgrade path. I would have went AM5.

I would make sure you update to the latest bios, to get the latest microcode updates, for the degradation problem, and set the bios to Intel defaults.
Yes they fixed the issue, independent laboratories including hardwareOC measured the voltage physically with ossciloscopes and the voltages where in the safe range, dont spread missinformation based only on your feeling.

It is not just a feeling. Jayztwocent's undervolted 14900k still died, and in the same video he had regarding it mentioned Intel was releasing another microcode update.

There will always be products that will fail, also you dont know how he used that cpu previously, especially from an overclocker. You dont know all the details. I agree that is risky and you NEED TO BE SURE YOU ARE ON THE LATEST BIOS for intel motherboards but from what i seen the issue is fixed.

It was his personal rig for streaming where stability was needed. He has been pro under-volt since at least the 12900k, and complained about the high default voltages from motherboard makers, long before the degradation issue was known.

All of the issues, and how poorly Intel handled them, I am not willing to risk it, and upgrade my 12700k, despite how much I wanted a 14700k.

Curious about your list. Is this an offshoot of the Luke Savenije one?
Nice detail!
I don't think it is an offshoot, since Luke's list (in PSUCultists site) is biased heavily. Favoring Corsair the most while downplaying Seasonic. And it doesn't include that much in-depth info about each PSUs, like: ATX version, OEM, topology etc.
SPL's list (not my own list) is very detailed in that regard and i've looked it over in-depth and didn't spot any bias towards any of the brands, or downplaying specific brand just because.

Sadly, SPL's list doesn't include all older PSUs, despite some of the PSUs listed are from 2010. E.g it doesn't list Seasonic M12II EVO, that also came out in 2010. Or Seasonic G- and X-series. It would've been interesting to see how those old units would've fared. But that's a little concern, since at current date, no-one should be buying 10+ year old PSU platform regardless.

Overall, SPL's list is the best one i've seen in my years. Best part is, that it is also up-to-the-date. :sol: Luke's list is outdated (2 years old) and doesn't include any new releases. While SPL's list does (if there isn't any good reviews of the PSU, you can find the PSU under the Full List tab).

I looked JayZ vid and he stated that, besides undervolting, he is also running 5.7 Ghz OC all-core on his 2nd 14900K.

This makes me wonder, if it was truly just the undervolt that killed the CPU? Or was it due to all-core OC? 🤔 Since we all know that high OC level will kill CPU - fast.

That vid too for parties interested:

I know, i watched the video when it got posted, that is why i said we have no informations about all the details but from what i saw and howq i know Jay, it definitly was not stock config. I have 5 friends with 14700k-14900k since it was lucnhed, no issue at all, i have 7 computer at work all with 14900k since it was lunched and 7 with 13900k right before the lunch of 14900k, no issue what so ever after the bio update, until then yes, almost all has staibility issues but after the bio updates everything was perfect and still is, you;re gonna say i am an intel fanboy, no all my friends who asked me to build a pc recently i recomended and go with 3D from AMD, either 5800 or 5950 (for upgrades mostly, already had an am4 board), 7800 or 9800 depending on the budget.

If we are going off personal experience, I can say among 11 friends I have, 5 of them had CTDs and BSODs even with the latest and greatest BIOS updates from ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI. Nothing solved their issues except an RMA to Intel. None of them were OCing their CPUs, nor were they overvolting. Two of them were on DDR4 RAM with XMP of 3200 and 3600 kits, and the other three were on DDR5 kits at 6000, 6400, and 7200.

OEM work PCs almost never push CPUs through the motherboard BIOS hard on "stock" settings like 3rd party boards from ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, Asrock, et cetera. That may be why all of the work PCs are more or less fine.
