How did Sugarsync get installed on my computer?

Today I was reviewing the software that is currently installed on my Windows 8.1 Lenovo Ideapad laptop. Included was the package :"Sugarsync". I've looked up Sugarsync on line, so I currently do not have any questions about what the software does. However, I am puzzled by its presence on my machine. Its not something I have a use for, and do not recall installing. Does anybody know whether other software packages install it? Or could it have come with the laptop without my noticing it before?

Is this a freshly new laptop or one you've had for a while? If you've recently visited any fishy or "odd", malicious sites, it could've snuck onto your PC. If not, perhaps it's bloatware or an add on to an application you previously installed. Either way, not too hard to uninstall.

I have had the laptop for several years.
I looked through the output from my last run of Belarc Advisor, and it was already there.
I have uninstalled it. I was just curious about how it might have gotten installed.
Thanks for the quick reply!
