In tomshardwares latest mainboard reviews they tested msi 865PE Neo2 (ms6728) and apparently succeded in running with ultra turbo mode set in bios but i have msi 865PE Neo2-fis2r and can only run in fast and lower(my monitor wont turn on otherwise´, so i have no error message or such). How did you(tomshardware) succeded in that? I got the latest bios liveupdate could offer this morning, but that wont do...🙁 did you use a new beta bios, in that case where can i get that bios version, want it cause it worked great for you.

If it matters i have p4 2.8Ghz with 800Mhz fsb and corsair twinx1024-3200LL. Bios setting at default expect for AGP aperture size set at 256

It has been my experience with 3200 memory being unlikely to run at high-performance modes. The way I got my OCZ 3200 to run dual-channel, ultra-turbo in Neo2-LS was by setting the memory speed to 333 in bios and upping the FSB to 240, which raised the memory speed approx to 380. Running at defaults i couldn't do anything other then "slow" mode. Just remmeber -- this will overclock your CPU and you should make sure that AGP/PCI dividers are at 66/33.

tomshardware used the same memory i have except i have 2*512Mb and they did the test in 2*256Mb

me: twinx1024-3200LL they: twinx512-3200LL

My memory shouldnt therefore be the problem
