[SOLVED] How do fans at the front of these PC cases get air in?

Hi team -

I'm thinking of making the same set-up as on the pic below

My question is, how does the aio fan get air inside? there doesnt seem to have holes in the pc case, apart from the floppy disk

Would this set-up even work?

I'd say the image is fake. The front of the case shows a CD-ROM and Floppy drive, but clearly neither exist as the cooling fans prevent those components from being there.

Agreed, that is a simple photoshop.
That old case front is simply pasted on the front of a current case.

it would be a heat trap with 2 GPU in it, but you could maybe only have the face plates of the drives on the front panel.
Appears to have an AIO on front too, so there is a radiator crammed right up against that front behind those fans

Not saying this is real but it would be an odd sleeper as it would appear it has a glass side panel as why else show RGB on fans and rim of case bottom. Then the front makes no sense... for 2 reasons.

The short answer, from everywhere there is a small gap. Old PC cases generally didn't have intakes, usually a rear exhaust and the PSU up top as an exhaust as well. Even if they did have an an intake fan, generally the bottom of the front of the plastic casing had vents with the single intake mounted down low.

So that AIO is basically heating up the inside of the chassis and the negative pressure is bring in some cool air to the interior.

It is very common in sleeper builds to take the fronts off the drives and stick them in place to maintain the illusion. They do tend to just snap on and off. CD ROM trays are probably glued in.

Its a real PC not sure how the ventilation is but heres the complete build :

So, just the face plates cut off the 2x DVD and 3.5" floppy drive.

Any air coming in will be through whatever gaps.
Looks nasty retro, but bad for any real cooling and performance.

$6k 'sleeper'?
Yeah...$6k of sponsored parts, and lots and lots of previous experience.
Good for a utube TV show.

Just cause you can make it, doesn't mean you should.
Plenty of videos on web of PC you shouldn't make, for reasons like CPU runs hot but who cares, look at the pretty colors.
I seen builds where CPU is over heating entire time but the person was too interested in what it looks like.
people putting a 3090 under an AIO radiator, tick... you just know that these people would have placed it above if PSU wasn't in the way.

if its only together for as long as video, who cares if its not a good idea long term. Its idiots watching videos who want their PC to be just like that who have to pay for it long term.

Show me same system's temps after a few hours/days/months of use.
