I'm sorry about the old type of RAM i am asking for help with but i have a problem and I want to solve it!

I have an i5-13500 CPU with an Asus b760 tuf plis d4 wifi motherboard, and
16GB 3200mhz G.Skill Ripjaw RAM.

I usually have my PC only for photo editing but I also love to play Dota and when I do it often crashes.
I can't understand why and I believe maybe it's caused by the RAM. Eventually I want to install more RAM, so just in case I want the best RAM I can use. Can you tell me which this is ?

I cannot say I have ever had any issue with G Skill RAM. You could check Reliability History and Event Viewer to see if the system is logging any helpful event codes. You could also lower the RAM speed down off XMP and see if that helps with stability. Otherwise, one of the other major issues with in game crashes are temperature related. Are you monitoring them?

Boot memtest86+ and let it run overnight. It will quickly show you if you have a actual memory issue. If it can pass this test with no errors there is nothing running under windows that will do worse.

Putting in "more" ram is very problematic. Even if you were to buy 2 kits with identical part numbers there is no way to say if the 4 sticks of memory will function. In addition 4 sticks of memory put much more load on the memory controller in the CPU and motherboard.

In general your best option for a upgrade is to just remove what you have and buy all new.

Their are QVL list on the motherboard and some memory sites that show which memory has been tested to work. Your stuff is a bit old so it is likely the lists have not been updated.
The list on the motherboard site though is the best place to start.

yes i monitor the temperature.. never went above 65 degrees.. i am not say that the memory has any problem and i want to change it with 2 brand new stick.. the old one i am gonna is it somewhere else! i want just to ask which company you prefer most.. all my pcs have gskill memory but the rest of the have ryzen no problem at all.. the problem i might think is the first memory and the second something like bug... anyway thanks for your time if u think the best stable ram i can get tell me

i have just now check the reliability monitor and here says that the crashes are from armourysocketserver. exe! so asus has still software problems.. what s your opinion?

IMO you could remove that hardware with little issue aside from possible ARGB control. There may be another program(s) that you could use for that but would be hardware dependent.

I also am a fan of G Skill RAM. One aspect I really like in particular about the Trident and Ripjaws is that they are the same stick much of the time, one with bling and one without. Intel is generally very tolerant of RAM, even more so than AMD/Ryzen in my own experience.
It is fairly rare to have an issue on XMP out of 2X sticks of RAM. This becomes more of an issue with 4X as some motherboards just cannot handle the power delivery on XMP with the four sticks. In the case that you are looking to add more I would recommend looking for a matched set of 2 at the capacity you want, or 4 if you must. I don't really suggest just picking up "the same" sticks if you are already having issues keeping the speeds and timings you want.

i am also a fun of g skill i just wanted to make a fair pc for my work with photos and my portofolio in general. i wa aware from the begin that wasnt a major problem, but it was make me nervous when i had to deal with it! no problem to work the motherboard without the armory crate i didnt wanted from the begin! i will buy 2 dimm of 64 gb for ram and i am gonna have only these. the ram i have already will go to a pc i am having on the basement where i like to fix thinks and i like to take ideas from internet... thanks for all your time... i found my way to force master yoda!! thanks i have never used reliability before!
