Such configurations may include modifying the IP address range for local area network, selecting the most appropriate encryption method, the name of the SSID, the visibility of the configured SSID, logon credentials, and so on. Each organization or home network may have different settings as per the needs or norms.

- ■Open any web browser on the computer.
■Type the IP address of the wireless router to access its admin console.
■On the displayed box provide login credentials (User Name and Password).
■On the opened page, from the left bar, click the Backup Settings under the Maintenance section.
■On the displayed interface, click the Back Up button.
■Save the backup file at the desired location.
How to Restore Wireless Router Settings?
Follow the steps from 1 to 4 from the above section and then follow the process given below,
- ■Click the Choose File and select the backup file (.CFG) from the given locations.
■After selecting backup file, click the Restore button on page.
■Wait till all wireless router settings are restored and the device restarts.
■Once the device restarts, close web browser and if needed, restart all the wireless client computers and devices.
