[SOLVED] How do I build a DIY surveliance camera?

I'm trying to find out how to build a DIY surveliance camera to attach to the outside of my apartment door, to keep neighbors from stealing my packages. I have a lot of old laptops, a desktop and other tech, so I think I might have the parts. I just can't seem to find guides on how to build a surveliance camera to put on my outside door.

There's probably ways to repurpose the webcam module.... As far as an NVR aspect, not 100% sure if you could utilize a laptop for such, but definitely doable.

There was an LTT video a few months back covering off DIY cameras. Might be worth a watch?
