how do i change language on windows vista acer aspire e380

I bought a used acer aspire e380. how can I change the language from Spanish to English. I tried the language settings in the control panel but that didn't help!!!!

Open Regional and Language Options by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Clock, Language, and Region, and then clicking Regional and Language Options.

Click the Keyboards and Languages tab.

Under Display language, choose a language from the list, and then click OK.
