So i have a Lenovo Tower Y720 and a Skybay Motherboard, im trying to buy new ram but yeah i don't know what my max mhz is.

no, thats not the same, i have a 1070 and an i-5 7500, idk but i think thats like a better version bc that also comes with 16 gb ram and i only got 8
