Question How do I Crop the sides of a Video? - Sony Vegas 15

Having a really hard time finding out how to Crop the sides on a video and change its aspect ratio, without stretching it or anything. Like Cut the sides off a 2560x1440 video so its only the central 600x1440

Google "how to crop a video".

Then narrow the search criteria further based on the devices and software you are using.

Using Sony Vegas 15 like the title says on a PC, and googling "how to crop video on sony vegas 15" just tells me how to trim a video, not crop it

oh, how about you use photo viewer to make it full sized, then run snipping tool (built into windows) and do a custom snip and save that as a png or jpg or whatever?

Does Sony Vegas 15 support video cropping versus trimming? Check the functions and features.

No disagreement. However, I second Mandark's suggestion.

Especially if the required functionality is not supported by Sony Vegas 15.

Just make some copies of the original video.

Try various editing software apps (likely some free trial periods) and determine, based on your criteria and requirements, if quality is being lost.
