How do i find at what speed my Hard drive/SSD is?

Hey guys, any easy way to find if my SSD runs at 6 GB/s or 3 etc?

use CrystalDisk to test the speed of your ssd and compare it to the specification claimed by the manufacturer.
Sata3 should have a peak of about 550mb/s
Sata2 should have a peak about 150mb/s.

SATA3 port on motherboard and SATA-3 SSD then 6GB/s
SATA3 port on motherboard and SATA-2 SSD then 3GB/s
SATA2 port on motherboard and SATA-3 SSD then 3GB/s, but your shouldn't see any noticeable difference to a SATA-3 port, unless you use a high end SSD.
