How do I find CPU rankings based on performance?

Sites like CPUboss put price, and power usage into account when ranking processor, which is giving me a false sense on what purely performs better.

Any better alternatives?

CPU Boss isn't very reliable, and uses very poor accuracy statistics.
Use CPU passmark scores for more reliable results.

Userbenchmarks are alright, but they tend to fluff statistics a lot, and many of their statistics on older CPUs can be dodgy due to the fact that limited info is available.

There's no set ranking, because different applications run better on different CPUs. For instance, a 6950X is $1700 10-core monster that will dominate most benchmarks, but an older $320 4790K will beat it in the many situation that don't utilize more than 4 cores.
