Userbenchmarks are alright, but they tend to fluff statistics a lot, and many of their statistics on older CPUs can be dodgy due to the fact that limited info is available.
It's a comprehensive list but they also have benchmarks for less common CPUs as well via the site's search bar. There's no set ranking, because different applications run better on different CPUs. For instance, a 6950X is $1700 10-core monster that will dominate most benchmarks, but an older $320 4790K will beat it in the many situation that don't utilize more than 4 cores.
