How do I find drivers and BIOS for this Asus AM3+ board?

I have acquired this ASUS M5A97 EVO motherboard. As you can see it is a mATX board. But when looking on Asus's website, I can't find it. I can only find the ASUS M5A97 EVO ATX. I have a couple questions:

1) do you suppose this board was a proprietary-designed mATX version of the board for a pre-built PC like Gateway, Acer, Dell, HP, etc?

2) do you think the drivers/BIOS for the ATX version of this board would work in the mATX?

(Note: You can see the model designation on the white label next to the PCIe x16 slot)

Solution

If the M5A97 EVO_DP/CM1855DP_MB is using exactly the same device chips like the AMD 970/SB950 chipset, Realtek 8111E LAN Controller, ASMedia USB 3.0 Controller and...

@ trampus123
Your link just takes me to the Asus home page.

@ ss202sl
I don't know if that is it. I only have the motherboard. Can you verify that is the PC the motherboard came from?

@richiestang
I already found that page. That is the one for the ATX. Mine is a mATX.

Is there any way for me to know my board came from the Asus CM1855 (ss202sl's link)?
Or what do you think about using drivers/BIOS from the Asus site for the ATX board?

I think you nailed it! The board indeed came from the Asus CM1855 MT PC. I just noticed the tiny sticker near the CPU that says "CM1855 - U D08S". Thank you.

I wonder if the BIOS from the ATX is the same as this one. It has a later version. As well as Win10 drivers.

The motherboard's model name is M5A97 EVO_DP/CM1855DP_MB. So it was indeed designed for and used in the CM1855.

The M5A97 EVO has PCI slots that aren't on the M5A97 EVO_DP/CM1855DP_MB so you shouldn't be trying to flash an M5A97 EVO retail board BIOS to your OEM motherboard.

OK. I suppose that is best.
What about chipset drivers, LAN drivers, Audio drivers, etc? Do you think the Win 10 drivers for the M5A97 EVO would work? Or should I just see if Win 10 will find the drivers during installation? W/o a LAN driver to start with, I will be out of luck.

If the M5A97 EVO_DP/CM1855DP_MB is using exactly the same device chips like the AMD 970/SB950 chipset, Realtek 8111E LAN Controller, ASMedia USB 3.0 Controller and Realtek ALC 892 Audio CODEC as the M5A97 EVO then there is no problem using the device drivers for those chips on your M5A97 EVO_DP/CM1855DP_MB.

What do you think will happen if I did? Brick the board? Flash pgm. halts with an error?

It depends on what method is used to update the BIOS. If the wrong BIOS image is flashed to the BIOS chip you can end up with a motherboard that doesn't quite function properly (i.e. IRQL and I/O port addresses for devices don't map properly) or won't function at all.
