Question How do I fit 12 fans (including cpu) in a micro ATX mini tower case with a mini ITX mobo?

Would I need to buy two y splitters for top and bottom set of fans? Would I be able to use the AIO pump 4-pin? The cpu says it comes with y splitter, I'd like to have an exhaust fan for the case like this, would I need a seperate y splitter for the 3 fans on the cpu?

My first thought is "Why" and my second thought is "Don't".

What specific problem(s) or requirement(s) are creating the need for 12 fans.

Most likely they will simply get in each other's way and cooling will be lost.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Why do you need case as shown in the "this". link?

"build" link came up as private when I clicked the link.

More information needed.

@Ralston18 Why? because it looks cool and to prevent as much dust build up.
I understand the concept of diminishing returns in terms of case airflow but that depends on the case, fan setup and the space in-between components.
If I were to have 3 fans top 3 bottom could I do them RGB? It says on the mobo that it has 2 addressable LED headers doesn't say rgb, so maybe not?
I updated the build privacy setting.

You can buy 3-fan splitters on amazon; I've used them without any problems. That would cover the top and bottom. You could also include the rear case fan like in the picture although you might want to have it run slower than the cpu.

https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matter...9746438&sprefix=3+fan+splitter,aps,144&sr=8-3

Page 75 of the bios manual indicates that the AIO pump connector can be set the same as any fan connector. You could review the bios manual before finalizing this.

But I don't think you'll be able to have more than 10 fans since there won't be clearance for the 2 fans that would be in the cpu cooler area and you'll only be able to use 1 side fan like you see in the picture on the Lian Li website. Also its not clear if you'll be able to put the 3 fans on the bottom since the clearance beneath the gpu is unknown.

You may want to consider a larger case. I use the Lian Li O11 Air Mini which provides more room and supports a full size ATX motherboard. I have 11 fans including the cpu in my case with that. They all run at 25 percent approx. 400rpm so its really quiet which is my primary goal.

That memory is made for Intel XMP profile change to something with AMD profiles. Not sure it will fit under the cooler and if it does you will never see the RGB as that cooler will cover the whole board.

EDIT for the bottom fans I would order them last after you build you might not fit a 25mm thick in with a 3 slot video card might need to find some of the 15mm ones.

The only thing that prevents dust buildup is dust filters.

Thanks bro! It does look like O11 looks like the best option and less of a headache lol. I just found the A3-mATX suited my back wall and fits perfectly at the side of my monitor for easy cable management and convenience for if and when I wanna sit or stand.
The XTX is somewhat a placeholder just waiting for the benchmarks for AMDs new gpus just wanted to get peoples opinions and guidance.

@Zerk2012 Yea I don't understand why RAM sticks have to be so tall... I didn't spot any option on PCPartPicker for XMP/EXPO so I assumed they all had the capability, or is it that only some are optimized for OC. (I chose again for the looks) The plan was to have the light from the RAM shine through the cooler fins.
It doesn't say the height of the RAM on their website which is a bit strange but without the cpu cooler fan there's a 66mm and 32mm with fan clearance from the RAM. Visually, on the diagram on their website, it looks like it'd fit without fan; no way with.

I take that back Corsair says both.

66mm without the outer fan.
If you add a 120mm outer fan then 44MM

The regular D15.

The way the fins are made the RGB will not show through it.

I've been using the G.Skill Ripjaws S5 memory since its just about the shortest memory you can get with a heatsink. In my O11 Air Mini case the D15 fan sits right on top of the DIMM and there's approx. 1mm space between the top of the fan and the glass.

If you're going with an AMD system they have the Flare X Series for EXPO:

BTW with regards to case placement and footprint amazon has a nice selection of right angle adapters for power cords, hdmi and ethernet cables. I use them so that my cables face downward or to the side so that I can push my case all the way in against the back of the TV stand its stored in without damaging the cables (the back fan doesn't suffer that much since there's still some room and the case top is fanned and ventilated).
