[SOLVED] How do I fix GPU spiking?

I got a new pc the other day and today I decided I would play some modded minecraft, so I downloaded enigmatica 6 and started it up. everything went fine and I loaded up my world and when I got in, every couple of seconds the game would freeze for a second. I checked task manager and I could see that my GPU was spiking from 14% to 100% every 10 seconds and this froze my game making it unplayable. I tried closing all other applications and restarting and that hadn't worked. I have tried using other games such as GTA 5 and subnautica but they work perfectly fine, its just the modded Minecraft.
I know I haven't got the best CPU but is there anything I can do to fix this apart from getting a new CPU?

SPECS:
1080p 160hz AOC monitor
Intel Core i5-12400F
Gigabyte RTX 3060 Eagle OC
Windows 10 OS
16GB Kingston Fury Beast RAM
512GB Samsung SSD
4TB hard drive

Sounds like an issue with Minecraft to me, not your CPU or GPU. Those are perfectly fine and should be well-balanced. No need for a new processor. Try either reinstalling Minecraft, maybe even to a different drive, or disabling the mod and see how it runs then. Btw, GPU running at 100% isn't an issue normally, mine is doing that constantly without issues.
anything Minecraft-related on the 4 TB storage hard drive? (If you can spare the drive, perhaps try disconnecting the spinning drive by removing SATA cable while rig is completely powered of would certainly cease all access for subsequent sessions. Playing Minecraft straight from the SSD would make sure nothing dependent on the drive is hitching while awaiting slow drive access...

As you indicated MInecraft only issues, perhaps removing/reinstalling Minecraft....

Thanks for all the suggestions!! I will try reinstalling Minecraft as well as the mod pack. If that doesn't work I will try and see if its an issue with one of the mods
