i had a i5 9600k and i decided to put an i7 9700k in, my mother board is a asus z390

i put the part in and it loaded me into the bios, i boot into my pc fine after that, i was playing around for about 10mins then blue screened, the error code was ndis.sys and did nothing after that so i turned it off and on again, it didnt let me login it only let me trouble shoot from a "safe" aera i guess you would call it, basically all i can do is reset the pc from here and some other stuff, im not very tech savvy so i dont want to fiddle with stuff i dont know about

thankful if you could help

you might need to reset the CMOS battery to get motherboard to realise you have a new CPU

ndis is network drivers. Try starting PC with no wifi or ethernet cable attached

still need to update the lan drivers probably
