Question How do i fix or verify a fault?

I’ve been having a boot problem for a while where when i start the pc up it’s no signal at all then when i keep restarting it over and over again or i restart it like 3 times and wait i finally get a signal and it runs perfectly. (The issue started when i tried to reset my pc using windows installation media and then my monitor had turned off so i restarted my pc then the problem came btw fans spin and keyboard is off but mouse lights on)i think the PSU is faulty but i don’t wanna buy a new one and still have this issue, and i sure as hell don’t wanna buy a new motherboard👎🏽. I’ve tried everything i can think of such as Resetting the ram, Changing ram slots, Using igpu, Taking everything out and putting it back in, Making sure it wasn’t my monitor (it isn’t), f1 to boot into bios while no signal (nothing happened),
I tried windows update while i got a signal (nothing),

CPU: i5-2320
Mahobay motherboard
3HDD 800+GB
PSU:MI-X81075CD (i bought off ebay for 40$ i had this issue after i’ll say a month of using it in my build)
GPU: AMD Firepro V4900
8GB DDR3 4x2
Windows 10 Home
Wifi card and 2 additional ports

Situation like this alongside a system of this age warrants concern over actually spending much, if anything, towards repair.

i’m thinking of getting thermaltake 600watt psu 80+white but i don’t wanna buy it for me to have the same damn issue so what i do buy it or try to find another solution?

I can't see it being particularly useful for a gaming environment. Are you just browsing and doing homework?

Thermaltake offers a large variety of very low budget models not intended or recommended for any sort of heavy-use system.

you definitely need a new unit though.

considering your current hardware;
just start saving however possible towards a decent modern system.
you're using ~13-14 year old parts which weren't even considered high-end at that time.

if you're into PC gaming, or want to be, or want to use this system for any sort of modern applications with good performance;
maybe have this coming Christmas be your starting point for building a decent system?

this current MI-X81075CD model PSU cannot properly power most dedicated GPUs out there.
i wouldn't allow it in any system of my own, they are considered dangerous to connected components and possibly even a fire hazard.

the GTX 970 requires at minimum a good 500-600w PSU, depending on the particular model you have.

check through some PSU tier lists or use the dedicated thread here at Tom's to ask for a good option out of what you may have available to purchase.

pretty much all of the Thermaltake Smart series of units are rated from "low-end" to "avoid" on a lot of the review charts out there.

i wouldn't recommend any of them.
