Good day everyone!

Laptop model: ACER Nitro VN7-791G
i5-4210H
GTX 950M/Intel HD 4600
8GB RAM
256GB SSD
500GB HDD

I am experiencing this DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE BSOD on my laptop for some unknown reason. This BSOD appears when I leave my laptop idle for about 10 mins or so. This occurs even if my laptop has programs open or if I leave it for a while with no running backgrounds, fresh from an open/restart. I even reinstalled the GPU drivers (both nvidia and intel) as it is one of the fixes that I saw, but it did not help.

I tried running "sfc /scannow" in command prompt and windows powershell but it did not detect any corrupted file. I even reinstalled windows but no luck with that either. My laptop sometimes stutters as well, and when I click on the start button, it does not respond. No response in the shortcut button for task manager too.

When this problem occurs, I have to force restart as well. Even when it is at 100% when trying to restart during BSOD, it gets stuck. Even when waiting about 10 or more minutes, nothing happens.

These events started happening some months back when i put the laptop to sleep during gameplay and ever since then it has been disturbing me.
Could it be hardware related?

Open up Device Manager and see if anything is flagged with a yellow exclamation mark. As for this;
pci.sys
See if manually reinstalling your chipset drivers and see if the issue persists but I've moved away from the 4th Gen platform I had since Windows 10 was causing the BSoD's.

Actually im using Windows 11 ( i dont know why the dump file shows windows 10).i have reinstalled the chipset drivers as you said but to no avail. it alternates between DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE and VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL ERROR BSODs.

And this is not the first time. Before when this would happen , I would leave the GPU without use for about 2 weeks and then it would work again.
