Question How do I fix this scratch on my case?

I recently got a new computer case (Asus AP201). as it turns out, my cat absolutely loves to perch on top of the case and gnaw on the corner with her teeth. When I'm in the room, I'm usually able to stop her before she causes any significant damage but recently I left her unsupervised for a little too long and she managed to scratch the paint off the corner of the case quite severely (see included images). at first I thought I might be able to get a new front panel, as most of the damage is there, but so far I haven't found any retailers selling parts for this case (I'm not in the USA). if anyone has any suggestions on ways I could fix this case (what product should I use to touch up the paint so it's less noticeable?) I would highly appreciate them.

Good thing it is black if it was white or some other color it would be impossible to match.

The problem with paint is not going to be so much matching the color it is getting the shine correct. If you hand paint it there will be brush marks and if you spray it you will get over spray that will show at certain angles. Really no different than fixing a hole in your wall and repainting. You end up having to paint a very large area to hide it.

I would take a black marker and see how close you can get.

If that case is like mine and it vents out the top the cats do a excellent job of blocking the air flow when they sit on top.

Thank you. I don't have a black marker at hand but I will go buy one maybe tomorrow and post my results.

And if your cat is gnawing on that area, I don't think I'd want to put anything that could be poisonous to them there!

I think like a lot of cat things, this may be damage you have to accept or replace the case every few years if the look is offensive.

I frequently have a cat on top of my O11 Dynamic. I've benchmarked a cat as causing about 6 degrees of heat at load.

I will add the suggestion to do whatever you can to discourage the cat's presence there.

Especially if said cat is likely to start marking its' territory.

May end badly......

My fixed cats are content to just beat each other up on top of the case. My PC cases have always been popular with my cats, and I avoid custom loops as a result since I certainly don't need them possibly knocking it over.

Because of cats, I had the dumbest reason to upgrade from the Phanteks Enthoo Pro to the O11 Dynamic in 2021, namely that the Phanteks has a power button on the top that cats walked on all the time, but I still wanted a working power button (and they'd sometimes do a hard power off with it). The O11 has the power button on the front side!
